Research into (i) the selection of decisions made by criminal law actors having a meaningful impact on a child, in the sense that Art. 3 CRC requires the best intrest of the child to be taken into account, (ii) the extent to which this requirement is found in the legal framework governing the work of the European criminal law actors and (iii) the extent to which this requirement is adhered to by the Belgian criminal law actors.
