Main scope: Deepening partnerships in research towards sustainable health solutions while introducing new collaborations

Objectives: The institutional partnership relies on a horizontal human resources axis and a vertical thematic axis, and is overarched by a methodological umbrella:

Objective 1 – horizontal axis – human resources and collaborations

1.a. Provide opportunities to former IUC-project members from Ghent University and Hue university to sustain and deepen collaboration
1.b. Give opportunities to members of the Ugent and HU community who have not been involved in the former IUC to initiate collaborations and to former IUC-team members to take up new roles
1.c. Establish external partnerships to ensure financial support to sustain future collaboration

Objective 2 – vertical axis – sustainable health solutions
Provide a framework and common theme to deepen collaborations and open opportunities for interdisciplinary exchange within the field of human, animal and planetary health

Objective 3 – overarching umbrella – common methodology in online education and collaboration
Make maximal use and merge the expertise of (former) VLIR-IUC, network and TEAMS projects to deploy open-source tools for education and collaboration
