Project description

The mouse species Mus spretus, more precisely the strain SPRET/Ei, exhibits a very clear resistance against inflammation, e.g. induced by lipopolysaccharides from gram negative bacteria. This resistance is the result of a variation in signal transduction. We want to identify this variation by performing expression studies in macrophages using Affimetrix microarrays.
