Afforestation forms a major nature-based solution for climate change mitigation and adaptation. Forest biodiversity experiments can demonstrate which tree species associations sequester more carbon, while coping with climate variability such as droughts. In this project, we work in the young tree plantations of the TreeDivNet, a global network of biodiversity experiments with trees. www.treedivnet.ugent.be
