Project description

Epigenetic modifications are essential in the regulation of many biological processes. The histone proteins that are intimately associated with DNA to form the chromatin are pivotal substrates herein. Here, we will apply bottom-up mass spectrometry data independent acquisition strategies to map thousands of PTM in a quantitative manner and to generate a first bird’s eye view of the so-called “histone code”.
