Project description

Invasion and metastasis of cancer cells are the main causes of cancer deaths. These malignant features can be induced by epithelial mesenchymal transition (EMT) a process controlled by the Snail and deltaEF1 transcriptionfactor family. The goal of this research project is to identify via RNAi screening functional interactors of Snail and deltaEF1 and analyze their role in the EMT process.
