Project description

The project aims at increasing the visibility of the collections (assets) on the one hand the introduction of new multimedia techniques and the development of interactive packages for families and young people. The goal is to let visitors discover the impact of plants in everyday life. From highly recognizable products, around whenever we formulate a scientific question. The Botanic Garden is promoted as an attractive place for a family outing. We develop five interactive packages around a botanical puzzle by children between 6 and 12 years can be solved together with their parents. The offer for young people is better tailored to the demands of education. There are also at least five Botanical Variations arranged for this group. Botanical Variations approach each theme in an original way and lay the botanical background exposure of the tested products. To provide targeted and comprehensive information on Dutch and foreign visitors, the use of QR codes introduced in conjunction with the smartphone.
