Project description
The Sahel of Tunisia, including Kairouan and Sousse, faces water quality degradation and salinization due to overexploitation and limited precipitation. Many shallow aquifers have dried up, while deeper aquifers are becoming saline. Essential data, such as lithological logs, gravimetry and TDEM surveys, and water chemistry, enhance understanding of hydrogeological systems. This study provides valuable references for future research and sustainable water management.
