Project description

In this project, atmospheric plasma jets will be used for the deposition of HMDSO coatings. Different plasma parameters will be varied and their effect on the characteristics of the resultant coatings will be determined. Simultaneously, the plasma phase will also be characterized. This unique combination of techniques can greatly contribute to the fundamental understanding of atmospheric pressure HMDSO plasma polymerization.
