Project description

For this project, I am planning to hire a doctoral student for a duration of four years. The project focuses on the processes and outcomes of policy learning within multilateral institutions (e.g., local and multilevel institutions in Belgium, international institutions such as the OECD, etc.). There will be a specific focus on European Union Institutions (e.g., The European Commission, the European Parliament, and the European Council). This includes developing a grounded theoretical model of how this process occurs, its different outcomes and determinants of such outcomes. The project involves a variety of research methods including multi-method empirical analyses (Qualitative, and quantitative), as well as conceptual and systematic literature reviews.
