Project description

The aim of this project is to obtain prototype rice lines with high folate levels, stable at ambient temperature over long term periods (demonstrated by quantitative analytical procedures). In addition, this research should enhance our fundamental knowledge on regulation of folate stability in plants through polyglutamylation and protein binding.
