Project description

During the interwar period, 'the art of living' became an important societal topic in Belgium. (Modern) architects, household experts and residents from different social backgrounds each had their own opinion on interior design. This study examines a highly underrated and barely studied aspect of interior decoration, wallpaper, and the (sometimes inconsistent) opinions of the aforementioned parties in that regard.
