Project description
RNAi is a promising strategy for sustainable crop protection against biotic and abiotic stresses. In a non-GMO-based RNAi approach, several barriers such as uptake and stability need to be overcome. In this project the mechanisms and impact of these barriers will be studied at cell and organism level. Furthermore, we want to overcome these barriers using biosafe dsRNA delivery systems.
