A series of groundwater investigations in the Global South is in progress. The groundwater potential is assessed, mostly in areas facing a water shortage. Groundwater recharge is evaluated. The flow system is mapped, including the recharge-discharge relationship. Groundwater quality if assessed, and the hydrogeochemical processes are deduced.
