Project description

Two innovative polymer systems, that are able to repair large-scale damage, will be developed. The first intrinsic system consists of a shape-memory polyurethane, containing reversible triazolinedione-indole chemistry, which is repairable at elevated temperature. The second extrinsic system is able to release an expanding healing agent out of microcapsules upon suffered damage.
