The overall goal of the SIPORE project is to explore to what level the point-of-care technologies Surface Imprinted Polymers
(SIP-)-based biosensors and nanopore sequencing can be used for the detection and characterization of foodborne bacterial pathogens as well as for monitoring starter cultures and food fermentations with sufficient performance characteristics for field application.
