Project description

As agricultre is facing ever increasing digitization, it is confronted with an explosion in the number of generated data. In order to efficiently use these data, systems for sharing these data with respect for data property rights and privacy, and useful and user friendly systems to exploit these data are highly needed. In this project we explore how farmers can safely store their data in so called data vaults and how these and other data can be shared safely. In the second part of this project, it will be investigated how deze data can be valorized in research and farm management by means of digital twins in agriculture and horticulture on the one hand and for tracability purposes in the agrifood chain via blockchain technology on the other hand.
