Project description

The goal of this project is the realisation of a silicon compatible source through the combination of PbSe colloidal quantum dots and ultracompact silicon phototonic circuits. The project includes the synthesis of the quantum dots, the optical design of the waveguides, the optical characterization of the materials and the realization of the actual laser source.
