The Programme for Studies in Human Rights in Context, of which I am the Co-director, is dedicated to the study of the promotion, advancement, and respect of human rights, democracy, and the rule of law. We reflect on the functioning of international human rights bodies and on ways of fostering more constructive interaction between domestic and international law within a broader social and political context. In this context, the budget of this project will be used to fund academic activities implemented within this research programme, including an international conference, expert workshops, participation in conferences at home and abroad, access to and dissemination of research results, and to contribute to the remuneration of a researcher who will join the academic team.
