Project description
ICRH won the De Beys award for its medical research with a social impact in crisis situations in recognition of its activities in the field of sexual and gender-based violence. These activities include rsearch, training, services and wareness raising in the following areas: 1) aid to survivors of sexual violence, 2) female genital mutilation, 3) sexual and gender-based violence in conflict and post-conflict settings, and 4) sexual violence against refugees, asylum seekers and people without legal residence in the European Union and the Neighborhoud countries.
