Project description

Plants have natural defense pathways to interfere with pathogen infection such as invasion by parasitic nematodes. The aim of this project is to analyse which mechanisms are activated in the important crop plant rice upon nematode infection and which pathways are inhibited by the nematode to ensure a successful infection.
