Project description

The aims of the project are: (1) to determine incidence and prevalence of maladaptive fear of falling in older people, (2) to determine what distinguishes older people with and without maladaptive fear of falling on physiological and psychological factors, (3) to examine correction of fear of falling after exposure to fear-inducing activities, (4) to develop a fear-anxiety-avoidance model of falls in older people.
