Project description

This research project focuses on promoting metacognition and self-regulated learning (SRL) in Flemish education, with the goal of developing an evidence-informed guideline and supporting materials. The project investigates three core questions: the effectiveness of interventions, facilitating and hindering factors, and the specific needs of educational professionals in Flanders. These questions will be explored through a systematic review of international literature, focus groups with Flemish education professionals, and the development of a contextualized guideline.
