Project description
In spontaneous human locomotion the walk-to-run- and run-to-walk-transition occur at a certain velocity. This study treats the effect of manipulation of visual velocity perception on transition speed. The second part of this study investigates whether there is a difference in priority between two determinants of gait transition, namely velocity perception and tibialis fatigue. Both parts will be investigated overground as well as on treadmill.
