“Cross-talk” aims to map the intricate relationship between crops and their direct environment. Experimental data collected on lettuce are integrated into a unique modelling tool designed to facilitate optimization of a vertical farm or a high-tech greenhouse in terms of both yield and quality. This tool will boost innovation of cultivation techniques and farming infrastructures.
