Project description
The aim of this project is the development of flexible, polymer-based horseshoes, to avoid the problems associated with conventional metal horseshoes. In terms of production technology, use will be made of both injection molding and 3D printing. The objectives of this project focus on design and material selection for horseshoes manufactured by using. injection molding, optimization of the design of 3D printed horseshoes based on scans of the horseshoe (together with business partner), testing and validation of the properties of the flexible horseshoe, and business development.
