violent conflicts
Project description

MICROCON proposes to significantly increase knowledge in the field of conflict analysis in Europe, through the construction of an innovative micro level, multidisciplinary approach. This approach will promote in-depth understanding of individual and group interactions leading to and resulting from violent mass conflicts. The project aims to uncover much-needed fundamentals for better informed domestic, regional and international conflict policy, which places individuals and groups at the centre of their interventions. In order to achieve these aims, MICROCON builds an integrated approach, which will lay the foundations for the development of a new European multidisciplinary research agenda in conflict analsis and policy.
