Project description
This research employs long and short read metatranscriptomics to unveil spatiotemporal dynamics of microeukaryotic plankton in the Southern North Sea. Through the high throughput analysis of mRNA, we comprehensively characterize the planktonic ecosystem by monitoring seasonal and diurnal cycles. The resulting omics data is explored to answer key questions and contribute to methodological advances in plankton ecology and oceanography.
