Project description

SINReM is a highly successful MSc programme. Since 2017 SINReM has received 3106 applications, resulting in 133 carefully selected students from 53 countries. The previous 6 cohorts (2017-22) have been made up of 47% female students. So far, SINReM has 53 graduates who have been very successful in competitive job applications. Within this project, we aim to further develop the programme to strengthen entrepreneurial aspects, attract more European students and give students new insights into modern technologies and future trends, in particular with respect to Deep Tech, Green and Digital Transitions.

In particular we will:

- develop course content in the fields of Deep Tech, Green and Digital Transitions. Three research institutes (VITO, HZDR and SGU) are key experts in these fields and will work within the SINReM consortium to achieve this goal.

- strengthen the existing entrepreneurship major through interaction with science and engineering areas. This will increase student's skills in leading interdisciplinary teams, and ensure the major can facilitate the creation of start-up companies by SINReM students/graduates.

- increase participation of EU students, especially from East and Southeast Europe.

- expand our non-academic partner network, especially to East and Southeast Europe, and obtain better feedback from industry through a non-academic advisory board.

- develop an alumni community and strengthen the bond between students and the EIT-RM Academy.
