Project description

This research focuses on the problematic gap between the EU and its adolescent citizens. More specifically, the PhD studies how young people look at the EU, whether or not they identifiy with it and how they interpret and define the notion of European citizenship. Complementary to that, the role of teachers in stimulating the blooming of a European citizenship is discussed.
