Project description

The goal of this project is to study the role of small- and large-scale duplications in the evolution of plant complexity and developmental processes (evo-devo) from a systems biology perspective. We will use advanced computational methods to reconstruct and analyse the gene network underlying developmental processes in plants, and assess the impact of genome duplications on the network structure.
