Project description

The research analyzes the unfolding polycentricity in the Yangtze River Delta from 2000 to 2013, and thereby tries uncovering relationships between hierarchical and network evolutions. On the basis of this, it intends to build a model tying world city and mega-city region emergence. The local driving factors in the Yangtze River Delta are systematically assessed.
