Project description

Promoting active lifestyles is an important strategy to prolong independent living in the oldest olds. Ecological models describe that behavior is influenced by both personal and environmental factors. This research therefore focuses on (changes in) personal and environmental correlates of physical activity in this age group, by conducting a cross-sectional study, a longitudinal study and a “natural experiment”.
