The aim of this project is to upgrade post-industrial PET film waste (upcycling) through the use of micro-reinforcingstruct ures and/or modifying the polymer so that hybrid composite materials can be developed for high-end applications: extruded tennis strings and 3D-printed bicycle handlebars/stems.
