Project description

The goal of this project is to achieve repopulation of biolocial aortic hearth matrices in order to obrain a vial tissue-engineerded construct that could serve as prototype for a tissue engineered heart valve. Four main sub objectives can be defined: (1) matrix optimalization, (2) Incorporation of growth factors in the biological matrix (3) Repopulation of the growht factor loaded matrices, '4) In vivo evaluation of tissue engineerded heart valves.
