Project description
 

In this project computational methods will be developed that can be used for fluid-structure interaction computations for rather slender and lightweight structures under wind loading conditions. This computational technique will allow for studies of ovalling of silos, flutter of bridges, excitation of flexible pipes by vortex shedding, galopping of cables, …
