Project description
This project studies the abatement of a chlorinated volatile organic compound (VOC), perschloroethylene with atmospheric pressure plasma technoogy combined with heterogeneous catalysis. Perchloroethylene is carcinogenic but is still used in the dry cleaning business due to he lack of an appropriate alternative. The aim of this project is to reduce the emission of PERC wiht plasma catalysis.
