Digital PCR is a promising alternative to qPCR. The advantages of increased accuracy, precision and ease of multiplexing promises many interesting and unique applications, among these is the possibility of doing higher order multiplexing. As part of the Ghent digital PCR consortium the project aims to push the limits of the technology through the development of higher order multiplex assays.
