With this project, the applicants want to improve the smart use of Smart Glasses in connection with facilitate and realize an effective realization of workplace learning. The area of ​​application is situated within three diverse processes: (1) remote deployment of expertise (for complex care tasks, e.g. wound care), (2) coaching of (new) employees (e.g. onboarding) and (3) interprofessional consultation on complex care files (e.g. case discussion).
In a co-creative process, 2 target groups are central: Flemish home care organizations and residential care centres: these organizations provide home care services in a residential setting (36,000 nurses in home care + 66,041 employees in residential care centres). The indirect target group are the technology companies (suppliers and developers of Smart Glasses applications, 19 in Flanders) i.v.v. optimizing the available hardware and software and facilitating optimal implementation in the broad first line.
