Cellular partner proteins of HIV Nef are searched for by functional screenings using shRNA lentiviral libraries and expression profiling. We study, in relation to the interacting partners of Nef and Nef induced genes, the immunological synapse formation, T cell response and HIV transmission in T cell – dendritic cell conjugates, using replication competent HIV reporter viruses.
