This project is abou tthe study of visual representation of the city in the Southern Netherlands during the late medieval and early modern period. Through the examination of the study of visual culture we will try to show how and why certain relevant changes occurred in the perception and presentation of the city. In doing so we will use a interdisciplinary approach.
