Project description
The determinants of patient satisfaction and outcome after total knee arthropasty (TKA) will be investigated to identify patients most likely to benefit from TKA, establish optimal evidence-based indications and timing, and educate patients towards realistic expectations. Based on the results obtained, a composite score for TKA indication will be developed in order to improve outcome and satisfaction and reduce associated socio-economic costs.
