Project description

In this project will be investigated whether the linear class-AB amplifiers in xDSL driver circuits can be replaced by switching binary class-D or multi-level discrete class-G amplifiers to improve the efficiency of the driver circuits substantially. The spectrum analyzer, purchased with this FWO grant, will be used to evaluate the signal distortion and linearity of the switching amplifiers.
