recently, honybee populations underwent a decline. We will test whether deformed wing virus (DWV) might induce behavioral alternations, and whether DWV is associated with this decline in Belgium. This will be investigated via a behavioural assay. Finally, we hypothesize that some bees can suppress DWV. hrough a comparison of infected and healthy bees, we will study its immunologicall mechanism.
