The development of new technologies at IPEM will make it possible to measure gestural behavior of humans as a response to musical stimuli. Multidimensional and complex designs are needed to obtain this goal. Specific statistical methods will be developed to analyze these complex datasets. Traditional and new statistical techniques will be investigated and evaluated in order to quantify human gesture.
