Project description

Six UGent researchers affiliated to two different UGent faculties are investigating the impact of the compressed four-day workweek on wellbeing at work. They do this in co-creation with three organisations. The results of this research project are very relevant for all target groups involved, namely (i) policymakers, (ii) the professional field, (iii) employers, and (iv) employees. Therefore, we want to disseminate the results of this ambitious and co-creative research project to all interested target groups in an equally ambitious and co-creative way. In particular, we want to set up a dynamic and attractively designed five-part docuseries in which successively (i) the researchers involved, (ii) the organisations involved, (iii) the employees involved, (iv) the professional field, and (v) policy makers are given the floor to highlight the impact of the four-day workweek on well-being at work from all relevant perspectives.
