Project description

Analogue experiments and numerical models will be developed to study the relationships between magmatic intrusions and the morphology of volcanoes, inlcuding vent distribution, volcno deformation and collapse and formation of magma reservoirs. Results will be used to explain the morphology of elongated volcanoes and to beter evaluate hazards at volcanoes in Africa.
