Namens AGRINATURA coördineert de vakgroep Levensmiddelen technologie, voedselveiligheid en gezondheid van UGent het steunpunt voor voedingsonderzoek voor de Europese Commissie. Dit project zal wetenschappelijk onderbouwde besluitvorming op het gebied van voeding versterken. Besluitvormers zijn onder meer de Europese Commissie, de EU-lidstaten en 42 EU-partnerlanden met een laag en gemiddeld inkomen in het zuiden.
