Project description

Particle Physics experiments at future accelerators, like the International Linear Collider, will require a new generation of calorimeters with high 3D-granularity which enables the use of particle flow techniques. Within the CALICE R&D Collaboration we work on prototypes of a hadronic calorimeter with a semi-digital readout system and Glass Resistive Plate Chambers or Micro-Pattern Gas Detector as active detection medium.
