Project description

Melanoma is often considered one of the most deadliest human cancers. Recent data suggest a crucial role of the EMT inducing transcription factors ZEB1 and ZEB2 in melanocyte homeostasis and melanoma initiation and progression. During this project, I will further build on our knowledge on the role of the EMT inducing transcription factors ZEB1 and ZEB2 during melanoma progression.
